1.) What drives you to play the games that you do? How do you pair the games you play with your community?
Well I’m a variety gamer. My main game is Call Of Duty, I also play Apex Legends, Marvel Rivals, Fortnite, Dead By Daylight, plus many more. I’m a little competitive so I enjoy playing the shooter games a lot . The majority of the games I enjoy playing, my Community loves them just as much, and are always welcome to come join any game that I play.
2.) What are you the most proud of with your journey so far in eSports?
I’m the most proud of the friends that I’ve made with playing the esports games. I joined the Black Women Of CoD last year which is a gaming group on Twitch and I’ve met so many amazing other women who enjoy playing CoD as much as I do. The support everyone shows each other and it’s a safe place for us Women to just be ourselves.
3.) What are some of the obstacles you’ve faced along the way with content creation? What advice would you share with others on how you overcame those?
Some of the obstacles I’ve faced with content creation are the negative comments that I received over the years being a woman within the CoD community or just the gaming community in general there’s a lot of negative things people say which has made me have a lot of self doubt with if I really belong or if I was good enough to be apart of the gaming community.
My advice I would share with others on how to overcome that is to always believe in yourself more than others, never give up on the dreams and goals that you want to accomplish, take time for self care and rest days which are very important and find genuine friendships within the gaming community when things gets tough you have someone to talk to who understand you.
4.) So often we see creators struggle to stand out in a crowd – What have you done to differentiate yourself and your content?
What makes me stand out and my content? Well because nobody has my personality, nobody is me, I’m one of a kind and that is my power . I focus on being myself, adding humor and never being too serious. I try not to follow trends and just put my own unique style on my content. It’s not just about the game, it’s about the experience and building a personal connection with my community.
5.) Final question – If you could change the ending to one game or movie, which game/movie and how would you change it?
Well I’m a huge Marvel lover so a movie I would change the ending to would be Avengers Endgame. I would change the snap that Iron Man made instead of him dying maybe he could be sent to another dimension and that would leave the door open for future appearances without losing Iron Man. 🙂
