1.) What are you most proud of accomplishing in your career? What moment was your “wow I’m here” moment in streaming?
That’s really a tough one because there are so many things I’m proud of. If I had to choose one, it would be the community I’ve built today. I have never met a more supportive, loving, caring and welcoming community. They support me no matter what game I play and encourage me to push for things I didn’t even know were possible.
I think my “wow I’m here” moment would have to be the amount of recurring names I see when I press the go live button. Having familiar people come in who want to game with me each time I stream makes me so thankful.
2.) What advice would you give women in the esports space? What are some things, when looking back, you wish you could’ve done differently or built upon?
Some advice I would give women in the esports space would definitely be to put yourself out there. I’ve seen so many women be afraid because they feel as if there isn’t a space for them, but there is. The amount of women in esports is constantly growing. Women come into my streams and say I inspired them to start gaming or streaming which makes me so happy. Don’t let anyone discourage you just because you’re a woman. Continue to grow the women’s esports scene and get involved! There is a place for us women here, and don’t let anyone tell you differently!
Looking back I definitely wished I expanded my content to other platforms. That is something to this day I struggle doing, but I am working on that. I really want to extend my content on other platforms. I published my first YouTube video out this year which was exciting! Very excited to create even more content elsewhere.
3.) Looking ahead what are the biggest things you want to achieve?
The biggest things I want to achieve career wise would be to just expand my community and put myself out there more. When it comes to streaming, I love building connections and friendships, so connecting with even more people who share the passions of gaming is something I look forward to each and every day. How amazing is it we all get to connect in the Twitch universe?
4.) Who are some of the people who have influenced who you’ve become in gaming? How do you balance what you’ve seen work and ensuring some of yourself comes through with it?
My main inspiration would be my sister. Our family grew up on video games. Both my dad and my mom loved gaming even before I was born. I remember growing up with all different kinds of consoles, then I got a PC and discovered all other types of games I could play. My sister was the first one who started streaming and from there is where I followed suit. Seeing her build a community, make friendships and game with people who share the same passion was something I was dying to do.
When it comes to streaming, I always prioritize the real me. I’m a very loving, welcoming and kind person and I never forget where I started. It’s important to stay true to yourself and remember where you once were so you don’t lose yourself in the process.
5.) Last but not least – What event(s) are you really looking forward to?
We have a HUGE event coming up in late September! I’m going to be hosting my very own segment for MARBLEFEST! Essentially, it’s a themed celebration of marble racing, with multiple streamers on a schedule of events with prizes, exciting leaderboards and increased community participation. This will be my second time hosting and I couldn’t be more excited and thankful to have been chosen. My segment will be on Sept 27th from 6-8 p.m. EST! Don’t miss it!
Of course I will also be attending TwitchCon this October! So if you see me, please come say hi! I can’t wait to meet a bunch of amazing creators and gamers alike!
