1.) What was your process for creating your vtuber model? What was your inspiration?
When creating my vtuber, I wanted her to be me but with the addition of my love for foxes. The colors were inspired from a fox tail I purchased at my very first Renaissance Fair and fell in love with immediately.
When I am not presenting in my ears and tail, you can also find my vtuber styling a witches hat and more goth clothing. All of these are a small part of who I am and inspire different aspects of my model.
2.) How much of “you” went into your vtuber model? How did you decide what personality parts to add (if you did)?
My vtuber is me at the core, I am not the kind of person to create a personality. I am genuinely myself and wear my heart on my sleeve. The only thing added was my comfortability to be more of myself so my true personality shines through.
3.) How much more difficult is it to create content in the vtuber space? What are some of the obstacles you yourself have run into and how have you worked on getting past them?
Content creation at its core is genuinely difficult because there are so many people doing this. You have to network and post content not just on one platform but all platforms.
I think one of the most important things I have personally worked on is branching out and networking more. I have social anxiety and fear people may not like me due to my vtuber or my personality and its something I have worked on.
4.) What advice would you give others who are considering creating a model/vtuber account?
Do it!
As someone who was hesitant in the beginning I have not looked back since. As someone with a debilitating chronic illness, it allows me to be myself but also be comfortable and not have to front a smile or such if I am not feeling good.
If you are looking to create a model and find something that speaks of you, there are so many ideas and inspiration out there. Create mood boards and chat with other vtubers who are in your space to get ideas from them.
5.) Final question – If you could change the ending to one game or movie, which game/movie and how would you change it?
If I could change the ending to a game or movie, it would be Avengers: Endgame with Tony Stark. Even though it was profound and he did it to save the world, I would have loved to have him go back to his daughter again and share tales or get her into science. Marvel has always been a big part of my life and means so much to a lot of us.
