1.) What is the one thing you love about your community?
The one thing I love most about my community is how they show up with so much love, chaos, and support. It’s not just about the games—we’ve built a space where people can be themselves, laugh till they cry, and lift each other up. This Bear Den is full of heart, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
2.) How did you get into content creation/gaming?
I actually wasn’t always a gamer—my husband is the one who got me into it. He’d play split-screen games with me, and slowly I started finding games I really loved. I started streaming when I was a stay-at-home mom of three. COVID had just hit, and we had recently learned our youngest was on the spectrum. It was a tough and isolating time, making friends as a stay-at-home mom was already hard, and the pandemic made it even harder. That’s when I found Twitch. I met a few amazing people and realized that even during something as overwhelming as COVID, folks were building friendships and real communities online. That inspired me. I wanted to create a space where people felt safe, where they knew they weren’t alone, and where they could make friends too
3.) What was the best video game and worst video game you have ever played? Why?
Best game? It’s gotta be Elden Ring. I haven’t even finished it yet (getting back into it very soon), but it’s already blown me away. The world is massive, the lore is wild, and every time I think I’ve seen it all, it throws something even crazier at me. It’s challenging in the best way, and I’ve never felt more accomplished after a boss fight. Plus, the community reactions and shared chaos make it even more fun.
Worst game? Probably something from my ‘Try It Tuesdays’ that felt like it barely made it out of pre-alpha. I won’t name-drop, but when the controls are busted, the story is missing, and even the bugs are confused—you know it’s a rough one. Two hours I’ll never get back, but at least I got content out of it!
4.) If you could collab with a community or influencer, who would it be?
If I could collab with anyone, it’d be SweeetTails…no question. She’s been such an inspiration and someone I’ve looked up to for almost my whole streaming career. Her energy, the way she connects with her community, and how unapologetically herself she is? Goals. A collab with her would be chaotic, hilarious, and probably full of feral energy, and I’m here for it.
5.) Who inspired you to start creating content or continues to inspire you?
While amazing creators like SweeetTails definitely inspired me early on, the ones who continue to inspire me every single day are my community and my friends. The Bear Den shows up with love, chaos, and support no matter what, and seeing the way we lift each other up, laugh through the madness, and keep it real, that’s what keeps me going. They remind me why I started in the first place and push me to keep showing up, not just as a creator, but as a person
6.) What is something you want people to know about you?
I’m a mom, a gamer, and a little unhinged (in the best way). I lead with heart, chaos, and a whole lotta passion. I give everything my all—but I’m only human, and I’m still learning every day how to be a better creator, a better human, and a better person overall. I care deeply about the people who show up, who are real, and who want to be here for nothing more than to be entertained and feel like part of our growing family.
7.) We have gone 5 years into the future, what does your content look like?
Oh, we’re still out here bringin’ the chaos. The Bear Den is bigger, louder, and even more unhinged. I’ve got a full content team, wild collabs, and probably a few gray hairs from chat’s shenanigans. We’re doing charity events that shake the internet, community games that turn into legendary clips, and I’m still out here screaming at pixel monsters and swinging my bat like it’s day one. The heart’s the same, we’re still about love, laughs, being real and energy always turned up to 11.
8.) What advice would you give to the next new creator that you wish you were given?
Take up space, be loud, be weird, be you. Don’t waste time trying to fit someone else’s mold or chasing trends that don’t bring you joy. Show up as yourself, flaws, chaos, and all because that’s what people connect with. I wish someone told me it’s okay to grow slow, to mess up, to not have it all figured out. Your vibe will attract your tribe, so stop stressing about numbers and start focusing on building something real. Remember: content can be chaotic, but it should never cost your peace.
9.) You get to go on a vacation anywhere. Where do you go and what’s the first thing you eat/drink?
If I could go anywhere, I’m headin’ to Ireland to explore my roots and see where my dad’s side of the family comes from. First thing I’m doing? Grabbing a proper Irish breakfast. I want to see the countryside, hear the music, and just soak in the history.
10.) Finally, if you were any animal, what would you be and why?
100% a panda bear. Cute, chaotic, and slightly clumsy but in a lovable way and they love snacks… sounds about right. I protect my people, and I’ll roll into chaos head first if it means a laugh.
