1.) Congrats on winning in the Women in Gaming category in the 2025 Wet Awards – can you tell us a little bit about your background as a creator in this space?
I cannot thank GetWetSports enough for the opportunity and for hosting such an incredible event! I’m beyond honoured to be a part of it.
Growing up, I really struggled in school, I was bullied quite heavily and had very few friends. Streaming became such a powerful outlet for me, it’s given me motivation, purpose, and has genuinely made my life better.
Earlier this year, in January, I nearly lost my life to a blood clot. That experience completely shifted my mindset, it gave me that real ‘life is short’ perspective. It pushed me to stop holding myself back and finally pursue streaming the way I had always dreamed of.
All I’ve ever wanted is to spread joy and create a space where people don’t feel as alone as I once did, a truly safe place, free from negativity and judgment. Seeing how it’s grown and the community we’ve built makes me so incredibly happy. I’m just grateful every day to be able to share that with others
2.) How did your journey into content creation begin? What was the first game you ever streamed?
Streaming was something I had always wanted to try, and funnily enough, the very first game I streamed was Genshin Impact. I did variety content for a while, but in the end, it all turned out to be the gateway into the ultimate addiction, Dead by Daylight!
3.) What advice would you share with creators who are just beginning on their content creation journey?
Honestly, I still feel like I’m just starting out myself. I’ve only been streaming consistently part-time for about seven months, but if there’s one piece of advice I truly believe in, make friends!
Follow and engage with other streamers, build genuine connections beyond just ‘networking’ or ‘follow for follow.’ When you surround yourself with people who share the same ambitions and drive, it motivates you to keep chasing your own ambitions.
I know I can be my own worst critic, I’ve struggled a lot with self sabotage, telling myself I’m not good enough or that I should just quit. But being around people who are excited about streaming and pushing forward really helps me break out of that mindset. That kind of support is priceless.
4.) What did winning the award mean to you and your community? How were you able to drive the involvement you did to bring home the win?
Being nominated for this award, let alone winning it, genuinely blew my mind. Just knowing that people thought of me enough to put my name forward was so incredibly humbling. It makes me feel truly blessed to have a community that reflects all the love and joy I’m trying to put out there.
When the nominations were announced, I made a couple of posts and would pin a comment with the voting link while I streamed. On the nights I wasn’t live, I’d just drop a quick reminder in Discord. But honestly, my community took it upon themselves to spread the word and rally support, they put in more effort than I did! Seeing so many thoughtful posts and messages of encouragement was so special and made me so emotional. Even my mum got excited about it and ended up sharing it with a few of her girlfriends LOL. It really turned into such a beautiful, collective experience, and I’ll never forget it.
5.) Final question – You become president of GetWetSports – what category are you adding in the next award show?
I’d love to see a category for IRL/ Variety streamers, cooking streams, just chatting, or other creative content. I think highlighting creators outside of purely gaming would be such a fun addition!
