Premium Interview: @tiinktofu

1.) What is the one thing you love about your community?

The way they look after each other when I am not even watching. I see them welcoming new people, sharing little life updates, celebrating small wins, and it never feels performative. It feels like a quiet room full of kindness. Knowing that my space became a place where people feel safe enough to be soft means more to me than any number ever could.

2.) How did you get into content creation/gaming, especially choosing vtubing?

A few years ago I became very sick, and even now most days I am still unwell. VTubing gave me a way to show up even when my body could not, a way to connect, emote, and express myself without needing to explain or apologize. What surprised me was how deeply I fell in love with the art side of it. Learning about models, design, and digital art unlocked a whole new creative part of me that I never knew existed, and now I cannot imagine my life without it.

3.) What was the best video game and worst video game you have ever played? Why?

The best game I have ever played is Split Fiction, because I played it alongside my boyfriend, and it became more about shared moments than mechanics. Very close behind it is Outer Wilds, a game that made curiosity feel sacred and quiet in a way I still think about often.
As for the worst game, I honestly struggle to name one. Even games that miss the mark usually teach me something, whether it is patience, humour, or what I personally value in play.  

4.) If you could collab with a community or influencer, who would it be?

On a larger scale, CaseOh and Ironmouse, both of them bring such strong personality while still feeling real and human. On a smaller and more personal scale, my favourite streamer in the world is Entz, who also happens to be my partner. Everything feels lighter, funnier, and more meaningful when we game together.

5.) What is something about being a vtuber creators should know before getting into it?

VTubing is not a shortcut, it is a different language of creativity. Behind the cute models is a lot of learning, patience, and emotional energy. You are still showing your real self, just through a different shape, so taking care of your boundaries matters just as much as your visuals.

6.) What is something you want people to know about you specifically?

What you see on stream is genuinely me. I am not trying to play a character that is bigger, louder, or tougher than I am. I believe softness is not a weakness, and kindness does not mean lacking strength. I show up as I am, even on foggy days.  

7.) We have gone 5 years into the future, what does your content look like?

I hope it looks very similar, just deeper. Cozy games, wholesome spaces, and streams that feel like a gentle place to land. I want to continue doing charity streams, giving back where I can, and playing every comforting game that comes my way without losing the heart of why I started. 

8.) What advice would you give to the next new creator that you wish you were given?

You do not need perfect equipment to begin. You need curiosity and the courage to press the go live button. Stream because you love games and connection, not because you feel like you should. I also wish someone had gently warned me to be careful online. Not everyone enters your space for the right reasons, and protecting your energy is something you learn with time and kindness toward yourself.   

9.) You get to go on a vacation anywhere. Where do you go and what’s the first thing you eat/drink?

I would choose Scotland, not the busy parts, but somewhere small and tucked away in the Highlands. The first thing I would drink is coffee, not because it is special, but because holding something warm while the air is cold feels like being gently welcomed.
