1.) How did you get your start into gaming and content creation? Walk us through your journey
I honestly just one day decided I wanted to stream so I went live with my MacBook and played Among Us with randoms. I then had a friend I hadn’t talked to in years find my stream and connected me with another friend I hadn’t talked to in a while who also was streaming. We started gaming and streaming together with some other people we met. Things just took off from there. I went down the rabbit hole of figuring out which tech was the best and what programs I should use. Haven’t truly stopped since.
2.) What does a day in the life of Megs look like when it comes to creating content? How much do you game vs the things we don’t see?
I game a lot both on stream and offline and use clips and content from both to post on my socials for both long and short form content. I do work full time so I have to edit my off stream content when I can.
3.) What are some of the obstacles you have run into and how have you worked on getting past them?
Like I mentioned before I do work full time and travel a lot for that role. Because of this I have to make use of my time when I can. I take my laptop with me on the road so I can edit clips and get them ready to post. It’s challenging to do but I do my best and remind myself that baby steps are still progress.
4.) When you arent gaming – what is it you enjoy doing?
I enjoy watching movies, reading and just hanging out with friends and family. I started doing my own nails a few years ago and throughly enjoy spending time making them look like I want them to.
5.) Final question – If you could change the ending to one game or movie, which game/movie and how would you change it?
Oh gosh, that’s a tough one. I honestly wasn’t a fan of the ending of The Hunger Games Trilogy; Mockingjay part 2. In the books, the story is told in a way that makes the reader believe that Katniss loves Peeta and has chosen her life with him after the games. In the movie, it just feels forced and like she had no say in the matter. This could be just the difference between books and movies or even just the actors portrayal but that’s always stood out to me and I wish had been different.
